INSTRUCTIONS TO OTHER AREAS (OUTSIDE OF DAVAO CITY) WHO WILL JOIN THE GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT IN SIMULTANEOUS SINGING OF THE NATIONAL ANTHEM NATION WIDE/WORLD WIDE on May 7, 2016 (Update As of April 29, 2016 at 6:43 P.M.)

For residents of Davao and people who can go to the Crocodile Park, please refer to this page
Guinness Book of World Record instructions for residents of Davao City only (singing of national anthem)

Update in CAPITAL letters below IN STEP 4…and in Step 9 one additional requirement-site layout or attempt site layout…in step 2 there is a need for a bar code scanner during the event.

TO ALL DUTERTE SUPPORTERS NATION WIDE/WORLD WIDE:

Since May 7, 2016 will basically be the last day of the election campaigns it is normal that there will be “miting de avances” or grand rallies all over the country.

Let us put our gathering together into productive use by attempting to break a world record by singing our national anthem, “Lupang Hinirang” together in unison with 300,000 people from Davao. This will be part of our Duterte day (D-Day) activities.

Step 1:
Agree where to meet on that day. Make sure that there is a Philippine Flag at the front. Also please make a 4 x 5 banner for your back ground indicating the Guinness event and the place/City where you are from and what group is sponsoring the gathering.

Step 2:
Arrange yourself by 50s in formation (groupings/grid). This is necessary for Guinness to easily count our numbers. We will be using the grid method in counting the numbers. One grid or group should be at least 50 people. WE MUST NOT ONLY SING IN UNISON WE MUST ALSO SING IN FORMATION.

We must register all participants getting their name, contact numbers and signatures. Registration must start early by 2 pm or even earlier depending on the number. Registration must be documented on pics and videos-since Guinness (GBWR) will also include that in their evaluation.

LATEST UPDATE- GUINNESS ALSO REQUIRES THAT ALL SHOULD BE BAR CODED LISTED-MEANING THERE SHOULD BE A BAR CODE SCANNER DURING SAID EVENT-SO THAT ALL CAN BE SYSTEMATICALLY RECORDED.

Also there must a strong whistle or sound to begin and end the singing-as a signal for all to hear.

Step 3:
All of us will sing at exactly 5 p.m. on May 7, 2016 (prior to the miting de avance proper)

Step 4:
Make sure that your singing is documented on pictures and in videos with dates and time Indicated. All must put their right hand on their breast. There must be a dress code per groupings-meaning each group of 50 must wear a different set of color clothing to distinguish one group from the other. AN AERIAL SHOT WITH A DRONE WOULD BE MOST EFFECTIVE IN DOCUMENTING THE EVENT BUT IF NO DRONE A PICTURE OR VIDEO FROM A HIGH PLACE WOULD BE OKEY.

Step 5:
You must have stewards or marshalls per groupings (one steward for every 50 people) who will make sure that all is in formation and that all will sing at the same time. There is a steward form to be filled up as provided by Guinness Book of World Records (GBWR).

Kindly see attached. Stewards can come from civic organizations like Knights of Columbus, the Free Masons, the Guardians etc.

Stewardship is on a volunteer basis just like the participants. The steward must make sure all must sing in unison and in formation.

Step 6:
Other than the Stewards you must have witnesses to the event. They must fill up the witness form as provided by the GBWR. Kindly see attached witness form. Witnesses can be anybody in the community who are of high integrity like judges, priests, pastors and imams. There must be at least 3 witness per area.

Step 7:
After everything is documented on pics and film and after all witnesses and stewards have filled up the necessary form kindly post on Facebook your attempt on that day so that our Duterte Facebook pages can pick it up and post in our Duterte dedicated pages and come up with a running total of all areas which participated. Make sure that you have a tarp on your background indicating your area and the group who is singing the attempt.

Step 8:
Send all your documentations to aji.r2d2@gmail.com or aji_r2d2@yahoo.com you can mail the documents to Mr. Arnold Garbanzos, c/o Rotary Club of Iligan, Maria Cristina Hotel, Aguinaldo st., Iligan City 9200 my contact number is 09162807752 for Globe and 09329044327 for Sun/Smart.

All areas who participate will have the privilege of having your very own GBWR certificate named in your honor. Each certificate can be ordered directly from Guinness London and may cost 10 British pound each.

Step 9:
After you have documented everything these are what you send to me:
-Pictures during the event (date indicated)
-Videos with aerial shot (date indicated
-Witness Forms filled up
-Steward Forms filled up
-Local Newspaper clippings of the event
-TV footage as broadcast
-Radio recordings as broadcast
-SITE LAY OUT

We will be breaking two world records on that day. One is the “singing of the national anthem simultaneously in a single location (which is Davao)” and the “singing of the national anthem simultaneously in several locations (OTHER THAN DAVAO)”.

Thanks for joining in an event that will unite our Nation.

Mabuhay ang Federalismo!!

Arnold A. Garbanzos, GBWR Consultant

P.S.
We enclosed a sample copy of the letters of invitation for Stewards and Witnesses (which you can pattern in your respective area) in inviting stewards and witnesses to your Guinness event.

Instruction sheets may vary from time to time subject to the requirements of GBWR London….so please kindly monitor updates..thanks

This event is sponsored by Friends of MRRD in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Iligan and the Mona Lisa Fraternity and Sorority.
