December 10, 2014 – The Tim Tebow Foundation announced that the Tebow CURE Hospital in Davao City, Philippines has received its official operating license and have already opened its doors that same week.
The Tebow CURE Hospital is a non-stock, non-profit specialty Hospital located in Davao City, Philippines with a primary focus on pediatric orthopedics. It is a five-story, 30 bed facility with 3 operating rooms specializing in pediatric orthopedic surgeries. Currently, 17 out of 30 hospital beds are available with a team of 54 devoted staff members are ready to cater and provide care to the less-fortunate Filipino children. The hospital is already addressing patients with the most critical orthopedic needs who cannot afford treatment.

According to reports, Tebow received incredible press attention after he shared how his mother rejected abortion after doctors told her that it is the only way to save her life. Both Tebow’s parents were missionaries to the Philippines that time when his mother was diagnosed with dysentery. On August 14, 1987, Tim Tebow was born; both Tim and his mother Pam miraculously survived.
The construction of the Tebow CURE hospital started in January 2012 and was completed on September 2014; this is in partnership with CURE International. The hospital is fully equipped to serve children with orthopedic conditions such as clubfoot, bowed legs, cleft palate and other congenital limb abnormalities.
